In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data, the We Are Water Foundation hereby informs you that the personal data provided to the foundation, as well as any other data provided during the relationship with the foundation, has been added to a file which is owned by the foundation and is duly registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

The purpose of this file is that of sending information about the We Are Water Foundation and its activities to the interested party. By providing the data, the interested party grants express authorisation for their personal data to be handled for the aforementioned purposes, including the sending of said information via e-mail or any other equivalent system of communication.

Furthermore, interested parties may exercise their rights to access, rectify, cancel or oppose the data by writing to the We Are Water Foundation, quoting "LOPD", at Avda. Diagonal 513, 08029 Barcelona.

The We Are Water Foundation is a foundation incorporated in Barcelona, by means of a public deed granted on 23 June 2010 before the Notary Public Mr. Javier García Ruiz (deed number 2199), with registered office at Avda. Diagonal, 513, 08029 Barcelona, holder of Tax Identification number G65366981 and registered in the Registry of Foundations of Generalitat de Catalunya. The articles of incorporation of the foundation can be obtained at the Foundation's registered office.

Our mission

The We Are Water Foundation has two key goals in mind. The first is to promote awareness and encourage debate among the public and organisations on the need to create a new culture for water, to enable the equitable development and sustainable management of the world's water resources.

The second is to carry out a whole host of actions to counter the negative effects of the lack of adequate water resources. The foundation's fields of activity include involvement in infrastructure, education, health and research, concentrated in the world's most deprived areas.

The Millenium Development Goals (MDGs)

By dealing with a global issue, the We Are Water Foundation sets itsef within the general framework of the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) set by the United Nations and its Water for Life programme. Generally speaking, its main areas of action are related to the health problems caused by water shortage, environmental sustainability, natural disasters, education and development programmes and water-related gender issues.

Roca's commitment

The We Are Water Foundation is an initiative of Roca, which from its very beginnings has been committed to the environment in terms of both its products and its production processes.

Roca is keenly aware that water is a unique and limited resource, and has therefore spent over 50 years developing water and energy-saving devices for its products, thereby contributing to more balanced and sustainable coexistence with the environment.

Roca's commitment to the responsible use and consumption of water has taken on a new dimension with the establishment of the We Are Water Foundation.

By creating this foundation, Roca aims to show its solidarity with those people and communities most affected by water shortage and its consequences.
