Albert Solé

Journalist & documentary director

Journalist, filmmaker and director of documentaries. He holds a degree in Journalism and has taken several audiovisual training courses. After working as a journalist in different printed media, he joined Televisión Española, where he covered the fall of different communist regimes. He worked as a television reporter for the public television channels TVE and TV-3 for several years, specializing in social issues.

He has directed several documentaries such as Vidas sonoras, Los recuerdos de hielo, which earned him the National Culture Award, among others, and Bucarest, la memoria perdida, which won a Goya Award to Best Documentary in 2009.

He has his own producing company, “Minimal Films”, which allows him to develop different projects. One of his documentaries, Examen de conciencia, has recently premiered in Netflix.
