In the third edition, which took place in 2015/2016, the competition had over 1,400 participants from 88 countries around the world. India and Bangladesh lead the spectacular dissemination the Festival has experienced in Asia, a continent that for the first time had participants from Iran, Afghanistan and South Korea. The number of creators from the African continent has also shown a significant increase, with participants from Botswana, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Somalia. The actor Pablo Rivero recognised the importance of denouncing and disseminating these problems: “You have opened my eyes to a reality I could not have imagined. I have been aware of the need to save water since I was a child, but I was not aware of the injustice suffered by millions of people. It is formidable to be here. Javier also stressed the importance of being informed of the water problems: “Most of the times we are not aware of the importance of one single drop of water.
