Ned comenz\u00f3 a trabajar en el suministro y saneamiento de agua en el norte de Kenia en 1987, y posteriormente trabaj\u00f3 en Sud\u00e1frica, Zimbabwe y Mozambique. Regres\u00f3 a los EE.UU. como director de programas internacionales en <a href=\"http:\/\/www.waterforpeople.org\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=post_blog_cast&amp;utm_term=wfp&amp;utm_campaign=22_nedbreslin\">Water For People<\/a>, hasta convertirse en el CEO en 2008. En 2011 se hizo con el Galard\u00f3n Skoll al Emprendimiento Social, por su compromiso y trabajo con Water For People.<\/p>\n<p>La Fundaci\u00f3n mantiene lazos muy estrechos con Water For People, ya que ambas comparten un mismo objetivo, una misma ideolog\u00eda, y un elevado grado de compromiso hacia las personas m\u00e1s necesitadas en este \u00e1mbito; y est\u00e1 muy agradecida con Ned por su colaboraci\u00f3n, apoyo, y participaci\u00f3n en el Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Os invitamos a disfrutar de la entrevista que realizamos a Ned Breslin hace unos d\u00edas:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pKWJWGeIGAg\" width=\"645\" height=\"363\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>En la entrevista, le preguntamos sobre los temas que se podr\u00edan explorar en los cortos de los participantes, y comenta que normalmente se habla mucho de la problem\u00e1tica, y que por eso, a \u00e9l le gustar\u00eda ver v\u00eddeos que expongan soluciones. En concreto, destaca el tema de la \u2018competencia&#8217; por el agua, y le interesan cortos en los que nos podamos imaginar a todas las partes implicadas colaborando conjuntamente en vez de compitiendo (e.g. comida, empresas, trabajos, comunidades, acceso). Narrativas que vayan m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de soluciones simples, que muestren retos m\u00e1s complejos que permitan a la gente tener agua cada d\u00eda sin excepci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La Fundaci\u00f3n <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wearewater.org\/es\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=post_blog_cast&amp;utm_term=waw&amp;utm_campaign=22_nedbreslin\">We Are Water<\/a> desarrolla infraestructuras de saneamiento en algunas de las zonas m\u00e1s afectadas del planeta, as\u00ed como diferentes iniciativas para concienciar a la poblaci\u00f3n sobre esta situaci\u00f3n.
