India has been vulnerable to natural disasters on account of its unique geo-climatic conditions. Floods, droughts, cyclones, earthquakes and landslides have been recurrent phenomena. In the last few years, India has witnessed a number of natural disasters impacting millions of people. The loss in terms of private, community and public assets has been astronomical.

We Are Water Foundation India, reaffirms its commitment to join hands with the government, community and civil society in providing relief assistance to  the communities  which are impacted by natural disasters.

An intensive relief operation was conducted by We Are Water Foundation team to the ravaged flood distressed areas in Kerela. Hygiene kit, water filters, mosquito net and other necessary supplies were handed out to stranded survivors in areas like Wyanadn, Kottayam, Alleppey, Emakulum, Palakkad and Idukki. With this early relief efforts, the team reached to 1000 families and ensured best possible services. Thanks to our volunteers from Kerela team for helping us facilitate and distribute the relief material on ground to the flood victims.
