La Fundaci\u00f3n We are Water ha dado el pistoletazo de salida a la tercera edici\u00f3n del We Art Water Film Festival<\/a>\u00a0con la presentaci\u00f3n del jurado y otras novedades en el marco del Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebasti\u00e1n. En el acto han estado presentes la mayor\u00eda de los integrantes del jurado, quienes se encargar\u00e1n de escoger los ganadores de las distintas categor\u00edas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Manuela Velasco<\/strong>, reconocida actriz de cine y televisi\u00f3n, Leticia Dolera<\/strong>, actriz y directora de cine; Marc Clotet<\/strong>, actor de cine, televisi\u00f3n y, actualmente, de teatro; Albert Sol\u00e9<\/strong>, director de documentales; Roc\u00edo Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, periodista especializada en cine de El Pa\u00eds; Carlos Jim\u00e9nez Renjifo<\/strong>, Desk Officer de UNRIC (Centro Regional de Informaci\u00f3n para Europa Occidental de las Naciones Unidas); y Xavier Torras<\/strong>, director de la Fundaci\u00f3n We Are Water, han explicado las novedades del concurso en un evento en el Kursaal. Adem\u00e1s, a la presentaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n ha asistido la comisaria de esta edici\u00f3n del festival, la directora de cine y miembro de la Junta Directiva de la Academia de las Ciencias y las Artes Cinematogr\u00e1ficas de Espa\u00f1a, Judith Colell<\/strong>. Otros de los miembros del jurado del concurso son el director de cine Daniel S\u00e1nchez Ar\u00e9valo<\/strong>, el tambi\u00e9n director y ganador de un Oscar, Juan Campanella<\/strong> y Jordi Folgado<\/strong>, director de la Fundaci\u00f3n Vicente Ferrer.<\/p>\n

Esta edici\u00f3n presenta varias novedades, una de ellas es la definici\u00f3n de las categor\u00edas: micro-ficci\u00f3n, micro-documental y micro-animaci\u00f3n. Otra de las novedades destacadas es el premio ya que, tras consolidarse como un concurso de cortometrajes internacional de renombre, se otorgar\u00e1n 3.000<\/strong> euros al ganador de cada categor\u00eda. Adem\u00e1s, el p\u00fablico seguidor del festival podr\u00e1 decidir qui\u00e9n se lleva los 1.000 euros al Premio del P\u00fablico.<\/p>\n

A partir del 2 de octubre<\/strong> queda abierto el periodo de inscripci\u00f3n oficial del concurso, que se podr\u00e1 realizar a trav\u00e9s de la p\u00e1gina web oficial (www.wearewater.org) hasta el 26 de febrero de 2016. Los cortometrajes tendr\u00e1n que estar relacionados con la tem\u00e1tica \u201cagua y saneamiento\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Xavier Torras<\/strong>, Director de la Fundaci\u00f3n We Are Water, ha expresado que \u201cestamos muy satisfechos de poder presentar la tercera edici\u00f3n del We Art Water Film Festival en un lugar tan emblem\u00e1tico como el Kursaal de San Sebasti\u00e1n en el marco de su festival internacional de cine. Creemos que con este concurso podemos dar un impulso a la concienciaci\u00f3n social sobre el la problem\u00e1tica global del agua y el saneamiento. Adem\u00e1s, es una forma de potenciar el talento de aquellas personas con una clara vocaci\u00f3n social<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

La actriz y directora Leticia Dolera ha explicado que \u201cel cine es una herramienta de concienciaci\u00f3n y de cambio social<\/em>\u201d. Por su parte, Manuela Velasco ha comentado que este concurso \u201ces una oportunidad para aquellos j\u00f3venes que est\u00e1n aprendiendo y tienen cierta sensibilidad por el medioambiente<\/em>\u201d.
