Ginés García

Actor

Actor who has combined theater, cinema and television. Some of his most important works are Isabel, La Señora and Herederos in TVE; Adolfo Suárez: Presidente in Antena 3; and Motivos Personales and Periodistas in Telecinco.

The actor spent most of his childhood and teenage years in the hotel his parents run in their home town, and he played as goalkeeper in the junior categories of Murcia football club before focusing on acting, his true vocation. He moved to Madrid to attend Drama School. He soon stood out among his colleagues, and for this reason, once he graduated, one of his professors, Miguel Narros, offered him the option of making his debut in the Teatro Español; this would be the prologue to a brilliant acting career in the theater. He made his debut on the big screen with Tabarka in 1996 and although he has stood out in films such as MensakaEl año del diluvio or Pasos, he has been most successful on television, where he made his debut in the early 1990s.
