Leonor Watling

Spanish actress and singer. She began her classical dance studies at the age of eight, but due to a knee injury was forced to drop out. She took her first steps in the world of theatre by acting in cultural centers. She made several appearances in different television series such as Hermanos de leche, Farmacia de guardia or Querido maestro. She consolidated her film career from 1997, being nominated to the Goya award to Best Leading Actress for La hora de los valientes, by Antonio Mercero. She was cast in Pedro Almodovar’s Hable con ella, a film that, regardless of her limited role, made her known internationally. She was cast in Isabel Coixet’s film Mi vida sin mí. She has starred in over forty films and in different television series.
