Manuela Velasco


Spanish actress. She started developing her acting skills as a child, playing a small role in the television series Los desastres de la guerra when she was only eight years old. Three years later, in 1987, she made her big screen debut with Pedro Almodóvar in the film La ley del deseo.

One of her more important films was [Rec], which earned her a Goya Award to Best New Actress at the 22nd edition of the Goya Awards in 2007. She also won the Best Actress award at the Sitges film festival for that same movie. She has played in numerous television series, such as Velvet.
