Spanish entrepreneur, president of the Codorniu group. She has a degree in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Barcelona. She started her professional career in the company in the year 1976 as head of the shareholder base, made up of around 200 people, all family members, but she progressively took on new responsibilities, such as the management of the Services, Public Relations and Image departments. In the year 1992 she was appointed Deputy Executive Director and four years later, General Manager. She is the president of the Codorniu group since September 1998 and was re-elected president in the year 2003.
In 2017, the international magazine Forbes chose Mar Raventós as one of the “50 most powerful Spanish women”. She is included in the Top10 of the country’s most influential women and is the third Catalan in that Top10.
