Mauricio Saldívar

Meteorologist & science promoter

Argentinian meteorologist and science communicator with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science Teaching (UTN) and a degree in Risk Management.

He started working in Todo Noticias in June 1993, and sporadically in Telenoche; and later on in the afternoon news of Todo Noticias. From 2005 he worked in the leading morning show of Argentinian television Arriba Argentinos. That same year he directed the first weather bulletin in Argentina:  Tiempo del tiempo.

He is mentioned as an important figure in Argentinian television from 1999 to 2009 for his participation in Arriba Argentinos and especially for Tiempo del tiempo. He is an advisor to private companies and media and has written articles and participated as speaker in conferences in his country and abroad. He is the representative of the International Association of Broadcast Meteorology (IAMB) in Latin America.
